Day 1: Tbilisi
After your arrival in Tbilisi local representatives will transfer you to the hotel. Free time for rest, dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Tbilisi
Breakfast. Capital of Georgia is city surrounded my mountains and in style part of both Europe and Asia. Sightseeing of traditional Georgian part of the city. You will see Metekhi temple, Narikala fortress, the Cathedral, national museum, Rustaveli avenue, ...
In the afternoon you will go to holly mountain Mtatsminda which offers a breathtaking view of the Tbilisi and its surroundings. Later is organised traditional Georgian dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 3: Tbilisi – Gori – Mtskheta - Tbilisi
Breakfast. We leave for Gori, birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Sightseeing of his house, locomotive and museum. After this we will see two extremly important Georgian ancient sites: Upliscihe and Mtskheta. Both are founded in 4th and 5th century and listed on UNESCO heritage site list. Sightseeing of caves and temples, craddle of Georgian Christanity, the cathedral and monastaries, as well as more modern part od former Georgian capital (Mtskheta).
Day 4: Tbilisi
Breakfast. Sightseeing of Christian part of Tbilisi known for its colorfull houses and narrow streets. We will se Metekhi church, Liberty squere, the Parlament, the President palace, Central Rajk park,...
After that we will go in Islamic quarter. We will visit the Mosque and Botanical garden from 16th century. Also we will visit termal baths and try some local delicacies.
Day 5: Tbilisi
Breakfast. This day is completely free for you. Enjoy in exploration of city, try some local food and drinks, learn something about histroy or art, meet your hosts or persue your own interests.
Before night you will have organised romantic dinner.
Day 6: Tbilisi – Kaheti – Signagi - Tbilisi
Breakfast. Day trip in wine region of Kaheti. On your way you will stop to visit David Gareja monastary complex from 6th century. We are going to town of Signagi, fortified town built in Italian style known as „town of love“. It is well known for its wines which you will have possibility to try. Georgian wine tradition is one of the oldest in the world, around 8 000 years old and method of production is listed on UNESCO unmaterial heritage list. Return to Tbilisi for overnight stay.
Day 7: Tbilisi – Mount Caucaus – Tbilisi
Day trip on north of the country beneth Mount Caucasus. We will see Greek mythical place of Prometheus torture, breathteaking views and always snowy peaks. Also we will visit town of Stepatsminda, Gergeti village, Ananuri fortress and Gergeti. Return to Tbilisi for overnight stay.
Day 8: Tbilisi - Ikalo – Kvareli – Tbilisi
Brekafast. We will visit Ikalo village and its monastary complex, Alarvedi cathedral and town of Kvareli where we will have lunch on local farm with homemade delicacies and wines. Return to Tbilisi and free time. Overnight stay
Day 9: Tbilisi
Breakfast. Check out from hotel and free time before departure on airport.
